Sobre Carl Fogarty
Nascido em 1º de julho de 1965, Carl George Fogarty MBE, às vezes chamado de Foggy, é um ex-motociclista inglês que teve grande sucesso como piloto mundial de Superbike. Aos cinquenta e nove anos, ele também tem o segundo maior número de vitórias em corridas. Ele é filho de George Fogarty, um ex-piloto de moto. Em 2000, ele se aposentou. Lenda da FIM em 2011, Carl Fogarty foi reconhecido por suas realizações no motociclismo.
Carl Fogarty venceu 59 corridas e quatro Campeonatos Mundiais de Superbike (1994, 1995, 1998 e 1999) devido à sua competição acirrada e estilo de pilotagem em alta velocidade nas curvas. Sua conquista mais notável foi liderar a equipe de fábrica da Ducati. No início dos anos 2000, Fogarty contribuiu para o desenvolvimento da moto de corrida Petronas FP1.
Nas Honras de Ano Novo de 1998, recebeu o título de Membro da Ordem do Império Britânico (MBE). Em 2014, Carl Fogarty foi proclamado 'Rei da Selva' após vencer a 14ª temporada de I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
